Il Comitato Arbitrale della Fifa ha ufficializzato l’elenco dei 36 arbitri, 69 guardalinee e 24 ufficiali al Var per il Mondiale 2022, che si disputerà in Qatar dal 21 novembre al 18 dicembre. Per l’Italia c’è Orsato, Carbone e Giallatini sono stati scelti come assistenti. Irrati e Valeri al Var. Per la prima volta nella storia ci sono tre donne arbitro: Stephanie Frappart (Francia), Salima Mukansanga (Ruanda) e Yoshimi Yamashita (Giappone). Stesso numero di guardalinee: Neuza Back (Brasile), Karen Díaz Medina (Messico) e Kathryn Nesbitt (USA).
