Secondo turno e seconda vittoria agli Australian Open per Jannik Sinner. Dopo il netto 3-0 a Edmund, l’altoatesino domina anche contro l’argentino Tomas Martin Etcheverry: 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 in favore del 21enne di San Candido, cinico nell’approfittare degli errori dell’avversario e bravo a non concedere neanche una palla break. Il prossimo avversario sarà uno tra il sudafricano Lloyd Harris e l’ungherese Marton Fucsovics.

Continua il percorso netto di Jannik Sinner agli Australian Open. L’altoatesino gioca un’altra partita perfetta e, dopo Edmund, travolge l’argentino Tomas Martin Etcheverry, imponendosi con un netto 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 che arriva in meno di due ore di gioco. Il 21enne di San Candido vola al terzo turno senza concedere neanche una palla break e, invece, sfruttando al massimo le cinque concesse dal numero 79 della classifica Atp.

L’unica del primo set vale il break che permette a Sinner di passare dal 2-2 al 5-2 e, successivamente, al 6-3 del primo parziale. Nel secondo, l’altoatesino trova addirittura cinque game di fila: dallo 0-1 sale sul 5-1 con cui il ipoteca secondo set. Il break in apertura di terzo parziale, di fatto, chiude i giochi: altro 6-2 e qualificazione al terzo turno per Jannik Sinner, che ora attende di conoscere il suo avversario. A sfidare l’italiano sarà uno tra il sudafricano Lloyd Harris e l’ungherese Marton Fucsovics. In ogni caso, l’azzurro arriverà con poca fatica al match che vale gli ottavi di finale degli Australian Open.
